Tye Ramos, Founder & CEO

Vision & Strategy

Tye Ramos is the Founder and CEO of 360West Workforce, bringing more than 30 years of creative production, entrepreneurship, and education experience to building regional talent pathways. He has a proven track record of connecting industry, schools, and community partners to expand real-world learning opportunities. Tye leads the organization’s vision to strengthen local economies and launch students into meaningful futures.

  • Tye Ramos, Founder and CEO of 360West Workforce, is a creative producer, educator, and workforce development innovator with more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, spanning music production, video, broadcasting, and live event productions. His work behind the scenes has included large‑scale productions, artist development, media branding, and experiential events - experiences that shaped his passion for creating real‑world pathways for emerging talent. As an entrepreneur, Tye has built creative businesses rooted in both artistic impact and practical economic growth, blending production, education, and community development into sustainable models. Today, that same production mindset drives his mission to build systems that do not just teach students, but launch them.

    Alongside his creative career, Tye served as a CTE Teacher, Department Chair, Academy Coach, Club Advisor, and Worksite Learning Coordinator at Shelton School District, where he built powerful bridges between education and industry. His ability to collaborate with organizations such as the Washington State Board of Education, the WIAA, the Big Ten Network, the Mason County Department of Corrections, and regional business and workforce partners has positioned him as a trusted connector across education, public agencies, and industry. These experiences led to the creation of 360West Workforce - a regional solution designed to strengthen local economies across the South Puget Sound while giving students meaningful, structured access to hands‑on experience with real community partners. At his core, Tye believes opportunity changes everything - and access is the first step.

Wendy Burr, Co-Founder & CPIO

Programs & Impact

Wendy Burr is a Co‑Founder and the Chief Program & Impact Officer of 360West Workforce, leading program design, curriculum development, and professional learning across the South Puget Sound. With experience in CTE, instructional coaching, and systems design, she builds structures that help students discover purpose and partners deliver high‑quality experiences. Wendy guides the organization’s strategy for equitable, scalable, real‑world learning.

  • Wendy Burr is a Co‑Founder and the Chief Program & Impact Officer of 360West Workforce, where she leads program design, curriculum development, and professional learning that strengthen real‑world learning systems across the South Puget Sound. Her background spans university instruction, secondary education, and instructional coaching, giving her a deep understanding of how students learn and what educators need to support them. Wendy discovered her passion for helping young people uncover their purpose and build essential skills through her work in Career & Technical Education. In her district leadership role overseeing 9th grade strategy, Wendy co‑designed and launched Freshman Seminar, a districtwide initiative that improved belonging, increased 9th Grade On‑Track rates, and helped students begin their High School & Beyond Plans with clarity and confidence. She brings the same commitment to early career exploration and experiential learning, recognizing how these experiences contribute to stronger talent pipelines, economic mobility, and long‑term workforce readiness.

    Wendy is a strategic and empathetic leader who combines insight with creativity, drawing on more than 20 years of performing arts experience to shape how she communicates, collaborates, and designs meaningful learning experiences. She believes the principles that empower students - voice, choice, and purpose - are equally essential for educators and community partners. Through coaching, professional development, and collaborative leadership, she helps adults honor their “why,” explore their “how,” and build new pathways toward success. At 360West Workforce, Wendy is committed to expanding equitable, high‑quality career-connected learning and building partnerships with schools, industry, and regional organizations. She focuses on creating authentic experiences and responsive talent development that strengthen cross‑sector collaboration supporting communities and local economies. Her vision is a region where every young person can see their future and every partner has a meaningful role in shaping it.

Jeff Slakey, Co-Founder & CPO

Partnerships & Engagement

Jeff Slakey is a Co-Founder and the Chief Partnerships Officer at 360West Workforce, leading regional engagement and cross‑sector collaboration throughout the South Puget Sound. With a career rooted in community storytelling and relationship‑building, he connects schools, employers, nonprofits, and local agencies to expand opportunity for young people. Jeff strengthens the partnerships that power the region’s talent pipeline.

  • Jeff Slakey is a Co-Founder and the Chief Partnerships Officer at 360West Workforce, where he leads regional engagement, cross‑sector collaboration, and community partnerships across the South Puget Sound. He has built his career around connecting people, stories, and opportunities throughout the region. As the morning voice of KMAS Radio and a key partner with Explore Hood Canal, Jeff spends each day highlighting local events, nonprofits, schools, and businesses. His work extends far beyond the studio - he’s on the ground at community forums, council meetings, trailheads, classrooms, telethons, and celebrations, helping residents stay informed and feel connected to the place they call home. His strength is in relationships: he brings together leaders, educators, volunteers, and organizations, giving them a platform to share what they’re doing and why it matters.

    Jeff’s outreach stretches deep into education, tourism, economic development, and local government throughout the South Puget Sound. He collaborates with the Shelton and North Mason School Districts, supports regional workforce programs, works closely with the Mason County EDC, and partners with nonprofits and small businesses to help them amplify their message. His work increasingly connects communities across county lines, strengthening regional visibility and shared economic opportunity. Along the way, he produces radio, video, podcasts, and social media content that makes information easy to access and engages people where they are. Jeff is committed to using his skills and relationships to expand opportunity, deepen regional collaboration, and support the South Puget Sound in building a stronger, more connected future.
